CCLM, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), provides housing for homeless individuals living with HIV. Residents are also provided individual case management and group support in both Spanish and English.

Projects with Partners:
Thanks to a grant from Union Pacific, CCLM was able to implement a food voucher program for clients living with HIV. Food security & nutrition is a challenge for any homeless population. For those living with HIV, nutritious food high in protein is specifically required to maintain lean body mass and provide essential building blocks for a healthy immune system. The food vouchers also allowed those who do not qualify for CalFresh benefits to secure other food not easily available from grocery distribution points such as healthy fruits and vegetables.
CCLM recently completed significant repairs on 5 of the Supportive Housing residences made possible in part by a grant from the S.L. Gimbel Foundation Advised Fund at the Community Foundation Serving the Counties of Riverside and San Bernardino. These repairs included some visible changes like new carpet, paint, bathrooms, and kitchen cabinets, and some repairs hidden beneath walls and floors.
This grant also provided jobs for some of our emergency shelter men.
We thank the S.L Gimbel Foundation and The Community Foundation for these opportunities.
